Parand Machine Co. will launch a new 38mm 3-start cap suitable for Aseptic Filling. The new closure features very low application and removal torque, making the 38mm format a more convenient one for the end user, specially for kids.
Aseptic processing is the process by which a sterile (aseptic) product (typically food or pharmaceutical) is packaged in a sterile container (bottle and cap) in a way that maintains sterility. It ensures product safety and eliminates the need for using preservatives.
As natural and non-carbonated beverages continue to grow in popularity, brand owners need packaging that coincides. To eliminate product contamination, aseptic filling processes are increasingly important to brand owners. The new cap has been specifically developed to be compatible with aseptic filling lines.
Applications include milk, yogurt drink, fruit juice and water. The continuous compression molding production line is equipped with quality control vision system to ensure minimum defect and contamination of the closures. Optional customer logo engraving on the cap top panel will be a possibility as always. Estimated production date is mid July 2018.
